Who can join? (Eligibility Criteria)

A business must satisfy the following typical conditions to be considered:

  • It must be incorporated as a Private Limited Company, an LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) or a registered Partnership Firm.

  • It should be within ten years of incorporation (biotech startups may get extended limits).

  • Its annual turnover (since incorporation) should not exceed ₹100 crore in any financial year.

  • It should be pursuing innovation: developing or improving a product/process/service that has potential for scalable growth or employment generation.

  • It must not be derived by splitting/scaling down an existing business or simply replicating an old model.

  • Standard legal compliances (Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, etc.) must be in place.
